Golden Eagles soccer players sign with four-year universities
LEMOORE – A pair of Lemoore College women's soccer players as well as two from the men's soccer team that competed during the past 2024 fall season have signed letters of intent to continue their academic and athletic careers at four-year universities. The four Golden Eagles were honored at a signing ceremony on campus.
Athletic director Walter Parham and women's soccer head coach Francisco Hernandez announced Annette Avila (Coalinga HS) and Mia Morales (Caruthers HS) have both signed with Bushnell University in Eugene, Oregon.
From the men's program, Parham and head coach Edgardo Contreras announced the signings of midfielder Sagar Kumar (Fowler HS) and defender Jorge Barranco (Selma HS).
Kumar will be taking his talents to Lincoln University in Oakland while Barranco is headed to Simpson University in Redding.
