SONORA – Freshman Eliora Go-Janks totaled 6 kills and 7 blocks to help lead Lemoore College to a 3-1 win at Columbia College on Friday in both teams' Central Valley Conference opener.
The 25-19, 18-25, 25-21, 25-21 win snapped a two-match losing streak for Lemoore. The Golden Eagles improved to 6-5 overall and 1-0 in the CVC.
Also contributing to the win was Kyana Rivera with 10 kills and 15 digs. Mia Elizondo added 9 kills while Mhaycel De La Cruz served up 6 aces to go along with 7 digs.
The Golden Eagles will face a tough test next when they take on Fresno City College on Wednesday (Sep. 25) at 6 p.m. in Fresno.
