Kendra Hawken Women's Soccer Signs for Fresno Pacific University

Kendra Hawken, two year captain, team MVP, two year All-Conference First Team and State Sophomore Showcase selection for the record setting West Hills College Lemoore Women's Soccer team, signed an NCAA Letter of Intent to continue her collegiate soccer career at Fresno Pacific University.


Kendra says she is "excited to complete her two years at West Hills College Lemoore and is extremely grateful the opportunity afforded to me by Head Coach Jasara Gillette's faith in me and her coaching and for the College's Presidential Scholarship which made it all affordable". Kendra is also "already working hard on her strength, conditioning and ball skills to be ready for Fresno Pacific Coach Podeyn's pre-season fitness testing so she can go in ready to meet the team and help them in any way she can"


Kendra attended West Hills College Lemoore on a tuition and books Presidents Scholarship to study Health Sciences and Kinesiology with the intention of ultimately pursuing a career in the Nursing, Physical Therapy, Athletic Training Field.


In addition to her athletic successes Kendra has scored in the classroom having already completed the required coursework for her A.S Health Science with a 3.75 GPA and is currently completing her final IGETC requirements for transfer. Kendra was honored for her academic success making the Dean's list in three consecutive semesters and being selected as a California Community College All-Academic Scholar.


Kendra graduated from Lemoore High School where she was a dual sport athlete in Soccer and Softball. Kendra continued her dual sport career in College playing Softball at West Hills College Coalinga her freshman year before deciding to focus on soccer.
