No. 25-ranked Citrus College battled back from a double-digit hole but couldn't hold on in an 86-78 loss to No. 28-ranked West Hills College Lemoore.

The Owls drop to 7-3 on the year, while the Golden Eagles improve to 8-2 overall.

EJ Bryson led the Owls with 24 points (9-for-15) off the bench and grabbed seven steals – which ties the program record for most steals in a single game. Tyrel Creger added 13 points (5-for-17), while Rudy Suarez chipped in 10 points (4-for-9). Brandon Suber (4-for-11) and JJ Mitchell (4-for-12) were just on the cusp of double figures with nine points each.

Citrus looks to bounce back on the road, heading to Cerro Coso on Saturday for a 6 p.m. contest.
