Thanks to three individual titles, including at the 149-pound weight class by Most Outstanding Wrestler Lupe Ayon, the West Hills College Lemoore wrestling team totaled 63 points to earn a third-place finish at the Sacramento City College Invitational.

Wayne Joint at 141 pounds and Angel Solis at 197 joined Ayon on the champions podium, taking first place in their respective divisions.

Also placing for the Golden Eagles were Will Torres (6^th, 149), Justin Tripp (5^th, 184), and Traven Avila (4^th, 285).

West Hills return to action next weekend. On Friday (Sept. 24), the Golden Eagles will host a four-way dual match with Lassen, East Los Angeles, and Victor Valley. Then on Saturday (Sept. 25), West Hills hosts the Golden Eagle Tournament.
