Falcon signs with Cal State Monterey Bay

West Hills College Lemoore women's soccer standout Brianna Falcon has signed a National Letter of Intent to continue her academic and athletic career at California State University Monterey Bay.

The sophomore goalkeeper originally out of Selma High School made it official at a signing ceremony on campus last month in front of coaches, teammates, and family.

Falcon recently wrapped up a solid season for West Hills and helped lead the Golden Eagles to a Northern California Regional Playoff appearance and a 10-7-3 overall record. Falcon posted an impressive 10 shutouts and a 0.95 goals against average (16 games/15 goals). Her shutout total ranked third in the state and led the Central Valley Conference.

She heads to a Cal State Monterey Bay team that closed the 2019 season with an 8-8-2 overall record. CSUMB, led by head coach Laura VanWart, competes at the NCAA Division II level as a member of the California Collegiate Athletic Association.
